The Ombudsman had the pleasure of hosting in an official meeting Mr. Maximiliano Ulivieri, a global activist and one of the most authoritative voices in defense of the rights of persons with disabilities.

Mr. Ulivier was accompanied by activist, Suela Lala from the “Së Bashku” foundation and Elsona Agolli from UNFPA.

At the center of this meeting was addressing the rights of persons with disabilities.

The Ombudsman congratulated Mr. Ulivieri for his courageous and essential work in this regard.

During the conversation, Mr. Shabani reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Ombudsman to guarantee that every citizen lives with full dignity and enjoys equal rights.

This meeting serves as a further impetus for the vision of a just and inclusive society.
