Today, the Ombudsman, Endrit Shabani met with the Chairperson of the Audiovisual Media Authority, Armela Krasniqi.

The focus of the discussion was the intensification of institutional cooperation, especially in efforts against hate speech.

Given the direct impact that this phenomenon has on Albanian society and democratic development, we agreed to organize joint awareness-raising roundtables in the near future, increasing dialogue with civil society and the media for a more ethical and inclusive public environment.

Protecting human dignity and combating discrimination remain common priorities of our institutions.
