Following the meetings with heads of public institutions, the Ombudsman, Mr. Endrit Shabani, received the Prefect of Tirana District, Mr. Shkëlqim Hajdari, in the context of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation.

Mr. Shabani informed the Prefect of Tirana about the problems encountered in the municipalities of Tirana District, where repeated phenomena have been observed where, not only are citizens not answered, but also these local institutions are not cooperative with the institution of the Ombudsman.

At the end of the conversation, it was agreed to take measures to address this problem. Among other things, it was decided to establish a joint working group, as well as organize periodic inter-institutional round tables, which will aim to identify concrete challenges and provide sustainable solutions in the interest of the citizens of Tirana District.
