The Ombudsman has initiated, *ex officio*, an administrative investigation into the use of force by the police during today's protest. The assessment is being conducted in accordance with Articles 2, 3, and 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights to determine whether the use of force was necessary and proportionate.

The institution's monitoring teams are present at the Security Block and at the police stations where detained individuals are being held. They are verifying whether rights such as access to legal counsel, notification of family, and medical examination are being guaranteed.

In addition to this *ex officio* investigation, the Ombudsman invites any citizen who believes their rights have been violated to submit an individual complaint to the institution.
