The Ombudsman Institution continues to intensify its presence and cooperation with local authorities throughout the country, with the aim of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens as effectively as possible.

In this context, a meeting was held in the city of Berat with the Mayor, Mr. Ervin Ceca, and the District Prefect, Ms. Valbona Zylyftari. The central focus of this conversation was the construction of more efficient communication bridges and the coordination of work between institutions.

During the meeting, it was agreed on the need for a more dynamic, proactive and bureaucratic communication, especially when it comes to the timely handling and addressing of complaints or issues that concern the community of this area.

"Partnership with local government and government representatives in the districts is key to ensuring that the voice of every citizen is not only heard, but that their problems receive a quick response and concrete solutions from the public administration," Mr. Shabani emphasized during the meeting.

The Ombudsman remains maximally committed to being as close to the people as possible, promoting transparency and accountability of institutions at every level of government.
